IT picks the SEC

Six unbeaten teams will go head-to-head Saturday on an SEC football weekend that promises to have pulses pounding.

No. 1 Alabama (3-0) visits No. 10 Arkansas (3-0). No. 9 Florida (3-0) hosts untested Kentucky (3-0) and No. 12 South Carolina (3-0) visits No. 17 Auburn (3-0). There's also an intriguing matchup in Starkville, where underachieving Georgia (1-2) visits dangerous Mississippi State (1-2).

Each member of the InsideTennessee picks panel went 6-2 last week, even though none of us had the same eight picks.

That said, here are the Week 4 picks, plus the year-to-date records:

Randy Moore (25-4)

ALABAMA AT ARKANSAS: A Mallett meltdown enabled the Tide to roll 35-7 last year in Tuscaloosa. The rematch should be a thriller. Bama, 27-23

S. CAROLINA AT AUBURN: Can Steven Garcia win on the road? Yeah, if he hands the ball to Marcus Lattimore 30 times. Cocks, 24-20

KENTUCKY AT FLORIDA: The Gators are vulnerable but not THAT vulnerable. Florida, 34-17

GEORGIA AT MISS. STATE: Georgia plays below its talent level; MSU plays above its talent level. Still ... Georgia, 20-17

WEST VIRGINIA AT LSU: The Tigers showed some ferocity last weekend vs. Mississippi State. Will it continue? LSU, 27-21

FRESNO STATE AT OLE MISS: Fresno is better than Jacksonville State and Vandy, two teams who already won in Oxford. Fresno, 31-21

UAB AT TENNESSEE: It won't be a Tennessee waltz but ... Vols, 31-13

James Bryant (21-8)

ALABAMA AT ARKANSAS: Arkansas, 35-31

S. CAROLINA AT AUBURN: Auburn, 31- 28

KENTUCKY AT FLORIDA: Florida, 38-31

GEORGIA AT MISS. STATE: Mississippi State, 28-24

WEST VIRGINIA AT LSU: West Virginia, 27-21

FRESNO STATE AT OLE MISS: Fresno State, 35-21

UAB AT TENNESSEE: Tennessee, 45-21

Dave Hooker (26-3)

ALABAMA AT ARKANSAS: Arkansas is in the SEC West hunt - for second. The Hawgs aren't ready defensively to beat the Tide. Bama, 40-28

S. CAROLINA AT AUBURN: If South Carolina wins this game, it will win the SEC East. That, however, won't happen. Tigers, 20-13

KENTUCKY AT FLORIDA: So tempting to call the upset here, but the game is in Gainesville. Florida, 23-20

GEORGIA AT MISS. STATE: Expect the Dawgs to rally around embattled coach Mark Richt. Georgia, 24-16

WEST VIRGINIA AT LSU: Les Miles will lose a big game at home this season. Not this week. Tigers, 24-21

FRESNO STATE AT OLE MISS: Surely the Rebels win this week. Surely. Well, probably. Maybe? Ole Miss, 20-19

UAB AT TENNESSEE: Vols bounce back with some offensive fireworks against a sub-par UAB defense. 45-30

Josh Woodward (21-8)

ALABAMA AT ARKANSAS: Tide has a test. Bama, 35-29

CAROLINA AT AUBURN: 28-26 Tigers in a close one

KENTUCKY AT FLORIDA: 42-35 Florida only because at home.

GEORGIA AT MISS. STATE: 35-27 Miss. State with the big win

WEST VIRGINIA AT LSU: 35-24 LSU has enough speed to get the win

FRESNO STATE AT OLE MISS: 24-21 Fresno State with the win (not really an upset)

UAB AT TENNESSEE: 42-10 Vols get back to winning ways

Chris Price (26-3)

ALABAMA AT ARKANSAS: Nick Saban and Alabama's toughest test of the season but they will sneak past the Hogs. Tide, 27-20.

S. CAROLINA AT AUBURN: Lattimore will have a big impact on this game and time of possession. Auburn doesn't have the passing game. USCe, 23-13.

KENTUCKY AT FLORIDA: If this game wasn't in the swamp I might feel differently. Kentucky will make it close, but they won't finish. Gators, 26-23.

GEORGIA AT MISS. STATE: Miss State continually comes close and the cowbells will get the job done this time. Richt is really struggling now. State, 24-16.

WEST VIRGINIA AT LSU: Miles' team needs to be ready for West Virginia. Noel Divine will give them a run for their money, but will fall short. LSU, 33-27.

FRESNO STATE AT OLE MISS: Well I just won't put my money on the Rebels anymore. I am going with Fresno State out of pure frustration. Fresno State, 31-30.

UAB AT TENNESSEE: Derek Dooley knows all about losing to the Blazers and he won't do it again. Vols win, 38-17.
