St. Peter’s Prep defensive back and four-star prospect D.J. Singleton has picked up two more offers from the Golden Gophers of Minnesota and the Volunteers of Tennessee.

D.J. Singleton, a highly coveted 6-foot-2.5, 200-pound strong safety from Jersey City, N.J., has two more schools to consider now.

“I’ve picked up new offers from Tennessee and Minnesota,” Singleton told on Wednesday.

What remains to be seen with Singleton is how many of these schools are recruiting him to play safety, the position he is set on playing at the collegiate level. There has been talk with some schools of moving him to linebacker and that’s not something he’s prepared to do. had previously reported the Minnesota offer, so the Vols are new to the mix.
