That should change in the years to come as the Volunteers reeled in a commitment from blazer Daniel Gray on Tuesday afternoon.
Gray is a 5-foot-11, 175 pound cornerback out of Lauderdale Lakes (Fla.). He had been committed to Kansas since late May before opening things back up recently.
The Boyd H. Anderson High School product, whose 40-yard dash time is sub-4.4, told BigRedReport.com that he planned to visit Nebraska on Thanksgiving weekend before tripping to Texas Tech and then to Tennessee on Dec. 2.
He is Tennessee's 19th commitment for the Class of 2012, joining Kenneth Crawley as the only other cornerback.
Gray reportedly has 24 solo tackles and an interception for the Cobras.
Boyd H. Anderson, which is where former Volunteer defensive lineman Gerald Williams played, travels to Cypress Bay on Friday night.
Last week, the Cobras defeated Coconut Creek 48-0 and didn't allow a single passing yard on four attempts.
