LEXINGTON, Ky. — A struggling offense and a lack of big plays on defense led to Tennessee losing its regular-season finale to Kentucky 10-7 on Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Stadium.

Tennessee's season ends with a disappointing overall record of 5-7 with a 1-7 mark in the Southeastern Conference.

While the future appears to be bright for the Big Orange as each of UT's top three tacklers were all true freshmen, the team must now deal with this gut-wrenching defeat over the course of a long winter.
