Following a 24-31 season, including an 8-22 mark in Southeastern Conference play, numerous changes were on the horizon for Tennessee baseball.

The Volunteers carried a team batting average of .248 and totaled just 19 home runs. The pitching staff was much-improved in spite of having to juggle the starting rotation throughout the 2012 season.

Tennessee coach Dave Serrano and his staff expect much more from this program. Only a few days after their season completed, moves were being made in attempt to improve the roster going forward.
