Tigers & Seawolves will have to wait a little longer to settle the Super Regional and a spot at the 2012 College World Series.

Sunday’s Game 3 of the Super Regional between LSU and Stony Brook has been postponed until 7 p.m., NCAA officials announced.

The game was originally set for 12:05 p.m., but rains overnight left the Alex Box Stadium field saturated.

In conjunction with NCAA officials in Indianapolis, the two on-site NCAA managers, both coaches and LSU groundskeepers decided it would be best to allow the field time to drain and dry.

Gates open at the Box at 5 p.m. and there are still some standing-room only tickets available.

ESPN has announced the game will be carried on ESPNews and ESPN3.

LSU fans are encouraged to wear gold.
