Scouting Report: Booker has gotten bigger, stronger, and better in 2012. He is just over 6-feet tall, he is over 200 pounds, and he is a physical receiver with strong hands.
His speed is good enough and he may not be a burner that runs right past defenders, he is fast enough, and he outruns defenders more than he gets caught on the high school level.
He is quick out of his cuts and he has a quick reaction in short space. He can turn it up field quickly and he can make that first defender miss.
On Friday against Gaffney, he finished with 151 yards on seven receptions and two touchdowns. His first catch did not come until the second quarter, but he took a short hitch route and went 80 yards for a touchdown.
He is tough for the lighter corner to defend because of his strength. He is a physical wideout that uses his strength both coming off the line of scrimmage and when going in for the catch.
His hands stood out as much as anything. He really catches the ball naturally, he attacks the football, and he pulls it in to his body well.
Overall, Booker has improved his academics and his recruitment is picking up. He definitely has the skills to play on the BCS level and he should continue to see his recruitment increase. He has a lot of eyes on him and rightfully so because he is very talented on the field. If he takes care of business in the classroom, you will see multiple offers come his way.
