Alabama Record Vs. LSU Impressive

It is not the first time things have not looked good for Alabama in Tiger Stadium and playing against LSU. In 1979 Alabama was bound for a second consecutive national championship, but it was a nail-biter in Baton Rouge with the Tide finally pulling out a 3-0 win. This year it was a four-point win, and Bama remains the team to beat for the 2012 national title.

One reason Alabama has won a lot of championships is because the Tide has a pretty good record against strong teams, such as LSU. With Saturday night's 21-17 win, the Crimson Tide now has a 47-25-5 record against the Fighting Tigers. More impressive is that Bama has a record of 25-9-2 against LSU in Baton Rouge.
