Kentucky will be wearing special one-time Nike uniforms tonight in the Wildcats' game against Maryland at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The uniform features a tribute to UK's eighth national championship won in April over Kansas at the Superdome in New Orleans. The jersey features eight stars on the back neck area to represent the program's titles in 1948, 1949, 1951, 1958, 1978, 1996, 1998 and 2012.
The HyperElite 2.0 uniforms are touted as the lightest Nike has ever produced in order to maximize speed and ease of movement.

The Terrapins will also be wearing special uniforms int he opener, a flannel-gray look with "Maryland" in script as a tribute to the Brooklyn Dodgers.
