Trio of Official Visitors

LSU hosted three recruits on official visits for Saturday's game against Ole Miss, including a junior college wide receiver.

Three recruits made the trip to Baton Rouge on Saturday to take official visits for the Tigers' game against Ole Miss.

Avery Johnson, Courtney Gardner and Artie Burns were all seen on the field before the game, taking in warmups while wearing LSU jackets.

Johnson, who committed to LSU early in his junior year of high school, received confirmation this week that he was approved to enroll at LSU in January. He spent the last semester at Hargrave Military Academy after he didn't qualify academically to enroll at LSU.

Gardner, a one-time Oklahoma signee, has spent the last season at Sierra College. The four-star prospect tweeted a picture of himself Friday night wearing LSU gear and said it was "the best day ever."

Burns is a four-star cornerback in the Class of 2013 that committed to Miami in July. He last took an official visit to Baton Rouge in June, and has said that he'd like to run track in college. Burns has also taken an official visit to Florida State this season.
