Warford an All-American
Warford had previously been named All-Southeastern conference by four different media outlets and the league's coaches.
The last UK offensive lineman to earn All-America status was Mike Pfeifer (Football News, Mizlou) in 1989. Warren Bryant was the last to receive the honor from the AP in 1976. Only 12 offensive linemen have earned the honor in school history.
Warford, the former Richmond (Ky.) Madison Central High School standout, graded out at 90.3 percent for the season and did not allow a quarterback sack as a senior. He also recorded 48 knockdown blocks and helped UK tailbacks average 4.9 yards per carry this season.
Along the way, he was named SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week after UK's win over Kent State. He graded 91.7 percent and recorded eight knockdown blocks in that matchup.
