FRISCO, Texas -- Scout.com's selections for the 2012-13 All-Midlands (Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska) team, featuring top prospects at each position...

Offensive Player of the Year - Kenny Hill, SR, Southlake (Texas) Carroll

After losing a ton of weapons on offense, Hill came back reinvigorated in 2012. He was more mature, physically developed and showed a firm confidence in his abilities to make plays. All-in-all as a senior, he completed 205-of-306 (66.99%) passes for 3,369 yards and rushed for 1,421 yards. He scored 60 total touchdowns.

Defensive Player of the Year - Mike Mitchell, SR, Plano (Texas) Prestonwood Christian Academy

Mitchell had an excellent junior season for 5A power Plano (Texas) West, but made the move back to PCA as a senior, where he amassed an impressive stat sheet. He racked up 186 tackles, 11 sacks, 32 tackles for a loss, forced seven fumbles, blocked three punts and even returned a kick-off 99 yards for a touchdown.
