Sixteen Vanderbilt players make up the first senior class to ever play in two consecutive bowl games during their Commodore careers. Leading up to the Music City Bowl, VandyMania.com will look back on each senior's career. In this segment Ryan Seymour is featured.

Chose Vanderbilt over: Interest from Clemson, North Carolina, N.C. State, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech.
OVERVIEW:
Seymour is another of several Vandy players who will have been part of their third Commodore bowl squad with the Music City Bowl. Seymour was redshirted in 2008 in his first season. In 2009 Seymour played well as freshman and earned All-SEC Freshman honors. Seymour has continued to provide consistent blocking for the Commodores all four his of his playing career.
BEST MOMENT:
October 11, 2011 versus Army. Ryan Seymour's stellar blocking, including seven knockdown blocks, was a key in Vanderbilt's 44-21 victory over Army. The Commodores gained 344 yards on the ground versus the Black Knights including 198 yards by Zac Stacy. For his efforts Seymour was recognized as the Offensive Lineman of the Week by the Southeastern Conference.
