Tennessee signee Malik Foreman

Rated a two-star prospect by FOX Sports NEXT, this sleeper could prove to be a keeper on offense, defense and/or special teams for the Volunteers.

Characterized as an "athlete," Malik Foreman proved versatile enough to play cornerback, wide receiver and quarterback in helping Dobyns-Bennett High School reach the quarterfinals of the Tennessee Class 6A playoffs last fall. He also returned kickoffs and punts. Foreman accounted for 35 touchdowns in 2012. Of these, 17 were rushing, nine passing, four receiving, two on interception returns, two on punt returns and one on a kickoff return. He averaged a whopping 52.5 yards on four punt returns and 35.8 on four kickoff returns. Foreman also excelled in pass coverage, recording six interceptions and eight pass breakups. Also strong against the run, he forced seven fumbles and registered five tackles for loss. The Johnson City Press tabbed him Elite 11 Player of the Year.
