When a highly-rated recruit visits the campus of a university that has offered a scholarship multiple times during the spring semester, it's a positive sign.
Peach State standout Cortez McDowell made his way to Tennessee both in February and earlier this month and the Volunteers are among the schools raising the eyebrows of the 18-offer-holding talent.
McDowell is rated by FOX Sports NEXT as a four-star prospect and the No. 25 safety in the country.
In 2012, he tallied 60 tackles, 10 passes defended and two interceptions for Locust Grove (Ga.) High School.
