ORLANDO, Fla. — The Emmanuel Moseley Tour is set to end soon — at Tennessee.

After leading his prep team to a state ring and competing in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas, the Scout three-star prospect tripped south to the Sunshine State to take part in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl.

Moseley played cornerback, wide receiver and on punt coverage units on Friday night at the Citrus Bowl after practicing earlier in the week in Apopka, Fla.

"I enjoyed myself playing against the competition I played against and I wouldn't trade it for nothing," Moseley said.

While in town for the O-D Bowl, the Greensboro, N.C., native spent time with other future Vols Derek Barnett, Daniel Helm, Cortez McDowell, Charles Mosley and Vic Wharton.

"It was pretty helpful building the bond early," said the 6-foot, 160-pounder, who hopes to pack on another 20-30 pounds before training camp arrives, which is a more realistic possibility since he is a midyear enrollee.

The No. 87-ranked cornerback in the nation gave his verbal commitment to coach Butch Jones back on Sept. 10.

Holding down quarterback among other duties, Moseley captured an NCHSAA Class 4A state championship for Dudley (N.C.) High School by taking down Scotland 27-7 at Carter Finley Stadium in Raleigh.

"That's big. Your senior year you always want to go out with a bang, and we did," Moseley said.

Plans now are to head back to the Tar Heel State to pack up and get to Rocky Top.
