Vols are Comeback Kids

Tennessee's football team has come from behind in four of its five victories this season. The Vols overcame deficits vs. Marshall (7-0 and 10-7), vs. South Carolina (20-17 in overtime), vs. Florida (3-0) and vs. Alabama (3-0, 6-3, 20-13, 34-27 and 43-40).

So, what makes the Big Orange so successful in comeback situations?

''We have a veteran quarterback (Casey Clausen) who has that knack,'' UT head man Phillip Fulmer said. ''We have a fairly veteran offensive line, and there's a lot of character on this team.''

So, what does Fulmer think of these dramatic rallies?

''I'd prefer not to have to do that,'' he deadpanned.
