Top Louisiana Running Back names 2 Leaders

Ja'Kouri Williams

Louisiana running back Ja'Kouri Williams is one of the top running backs in the country, and he has recently named two leaders.

Ja'Kouri Williams has over a dozen offers to choose from, but he has narrowed his list to a lucky few.

"My top five would be Tennessee, Michigan, Nebraska, Auburn, and Florida State. All of them have offered me a scholarship," Williams said.

Might one of his finalists have an advantage over the others?

"It's really Tennessee and Michigan right now. Both of them contend for their conference titles usually every year, and they get lots of national exposure."

While things are becoming more clear with his future, the blue chip has fought a wide array of injuries that has plagued his senior season.

"I've had a lot of problems this year. I had a deep thigh bruise, a concussion, and I twisted my right knee pretty bad trying to make a cut. It was really tough the first few games, but I'm pretty healthy now."

Plaquemine Senior High School is 6-3 on the season, and appear poised to make the playoffs with the return of their biggest rushing threat. TheInsiders will keep you to date on Ja'Kouri Williams right up through signing day.

The star tailback has set officials with Michigan on December 5th, and Nebraska on January 16th. He also plans to visit the other three schools on his list before making a final decision.
