Inky pleases Chavis

If so, he moved onto the A-list with his performance in Saturday's first preseason scrimmage.

Johnson, an Atlanta native who failed to make any recruiting lists last winter, provided good coverage throughout the workout and recorded a couple of nice pass breakups. ''Inky Johnson showed up at corner,'' defensive coordinator John Chavis said. ''He made some plays over there, but he's a guy we knew was very, very talented.''
