UT Defense Returns To Roots

Tennessee began the 2004 football campaign sporting retro uniforms that were a hit with players and fans alike, but it was Saturday's throwback performance between the hedges that will always hold a special place in the hearts of Big Orange faithful.

Controlling the ball, clock and field position with a solid albeit unspectacular offense, while stopping Georgia's ground game and harassing its veteran quarterback with a defense that never stop attacking, Tennessee recaptured some of the program's bygone glory and revived it's championships hopes for the near future.
