Lindsey Moss to have X-ray after collision

Lady Vol freshman guard Lindsey Moss practiced Monday one day after absorbing a nasty blow to the bridge of her nose during a scramble for a loose ball in Sunday's game at Mississippi State. "Lindsey is tough," coach Pat Summitt said after practice ended Monday.

Lindsey Moss saw the team physician, Dr. Rebecca Morgan, on Monday, and will get an X-ray on Tuesday. The health center was closed Monday because of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday so the X-ray had to wait one day. The good news was that Moss didn't sustain a nasal septum hematoma, which would have indicated an accumulation of blood from the blow and "which is what you worry about," said...
