Corey Campbell's done

Posted Mar 1, 2006

Head coach Phillip Fulmer announced Tuesday that defensive back Corey Campbell is leaving the Tennessee football team. The Spring, Texas, native lettered three years for the Vols and had one season of eligibility remaining.

As a junior in 2005, Corey Campbell played in nine games and had one interception and one fumble recovery to go with three tackles. He intercepted seven passes in his three-year Tennessee career -- two in 2003 en route to consensus Freshman All-SEC honors -- and four during his sophomore campaign.
