Jones got the Gamecocks' attention in the first quarter with 119 yards on just four carries. McFadden took it from there, finishing with the biggest rushing day in Southeastern Conference history. All told, McFadden and Jones combined for 486 of Arkansas's 541 rushing yards.
With three games left, Tennessee (6-3 overall, 3-2 SEC) can claim the league's Eastern Division title by winning out. Here's a look at the three teams the Vols must beat:
- Arkansas (Nov. 10). The Razorbacks (6-3, 2-3) got nearly 500 combined rushing yards from McFadden and Jones in crunching Carolina.
- Vanderbilt (Nov. 17). The Commodores (5-4, 2-4) suffered a 49-22 beat-down at Florida. Vandy's defense surrendered 358 total yards in the first two quarters en route to a 35-7 halftime deficit. The ‘Dores now have lost 17 consecutive games to the Gators.
