A record 27 (of 29) Lady Vol regular season games are slated for television this season. The No. 2-ranked Lady Vols continue SEC play by taking on Arkansas, Thursday, January 24, 2008, LIVE on My VLT2 Knoxville and WUXP Nashville.

Not only will there be high action on the court but a familiar voice will join The Vol Network’s Bob Kesling in calling the game. In a joint announcement today, the Vol Network and Flagship station WVLT announced that Tennessee Men’s Coach Bruce Pearl will provide color analysis along with Bob Kesling’s play by play and Rick Russo’s courtside coverage of all the game action.

“I’m excited about broadcasting my first college basketball game and the fact that it’s Pat and the Lady Vols makes it even that much more special,” said Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl. “I was going to be at the game anyway so I might as well be working. Dick Vitale has nothing to worry about.”

“I’m looking forward to working with Coach Pearl and having him on the other side of the camera for what promises to be an exciting and entertaining new addition to our broadcast team”, said Bob Kesling.

My VLT 2 can be found on Comcast and Knology Channel 8, Charter channel 11, DirecTV 30, and received over-the-air on Digital channel 8.2.
