The two are sophomore linebacker Dorian Davis and sophomore safety Antonio Wardlow.
Davis, a 6-2, 215-pounder from Iowa City, recorded 8 tackles, 7 assists and a forced fumble during the 2007 season. He was expected to compete in 2008 for the strongside linebacker spot vacated by the impending departure of two-year starter Ryan Karl.
Wardlow, a 6-0, 185-pounder from Winston-Salem, N.C., recorded 4 tackles and 5 assists last fall. All but one of the stops came on special teams. He also registered an interception, a pass breakup and a blocked kick during the '07 season. He returned the interception 16 yards.
He was expected to compete for the free safety job vacated by the impending departure of four-year starter Jonathan Hefney.
Wardlow is best known for blocking a Georgia punt in 2006 at Athens and recovering in the end zone for a touchdown. That play got him on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
