SC's first three plays of its second possession. Those plays - completions of 19 yards to Kenny McKinley, 18 yards to McKinley and 31 yards to Eric Baker - moved the ball from the Carolina 18 to the Vol 14. The Gamecocks scored the game's opening TD two plays later.
Garcia. He accounted for all 78 yards on SC's first TD drive, completing four of four passes for 80 yards and rushing for the other two yards.

Stephens' foiled sneak. Down 24-6 with 20 minutes left, the Vols still had a chance to get back in the game until that play gave the ball back to South Carolina.
Vol receiver Austin Rogers. He caught two passes in the quarter, a 49-yarder and a 15-yarder on the Vols' TD drive.
Tennessee went 0-for-2 on fourth-down tries in the quarter, surrendering the ball at the SC 24 and later at the SC 35.
With 10 minutes left a 10-yard pass from Stephens to Lucas Taylor was nullified by an illegal-formation call. The Vols had to punt the ball away two plays later and didn't get it back until 5:36 remained.
South Carolina's defense. It limited UT to two net yards in the final period.
Tennessee surrendered two more sacks in the final quarter, finishing the night with six.
