Brent Vinson

Posted Apr 1, 2009

Tennessee is without the services of Brent Vinson for the remainder of spring practice after the defensive back had shoulder surgery Wednesday morning.

The junior from Hampton, Va., underwent a successful surgical procedure on his left shoulder by Drs. Greg Mathien and Russell Betcher of Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic.

UT head athletic trainer Jason McVeigh said Brent Vinson will miss the final eight practices of spring drills and be held to limited participation when fall training camp begins in August. McVeigh expects Vinson to be ready for play by the start of the regular season.
