The Volunteers finally got some good news Monday evening in regards to a defensive lineman. Three-star prospect J.C. Copeland of Troup County High School in Georgia took an official visit to LSU this past weekend. After some time to reflect, Copeland decided he is rock solid to Rocky Top. Go "Inside" for the latest.

Troup County High School coach Bubba Jeter sat down and had a heart-to-heart talk with one of his best players Monday morning.

Defensive lineman J.C. Copeland, fresh off an official visit to LSU, wanted to sit down and talk to his coach about his options.

Jeter shared some of that conversation with Scout.com's Chad Simmons later Monday evening.

"J.C. enjoyed his trip to LSU," Jeter told Scout.com. "When it comes down to it, he feels a little more comfortable staying with his commitment to Tennessee. He will sign with the Vols at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning."
