Derek Dooley continues to deliver in recruiting, especially when it comes to recruiting the state of Georgia.
The Volunteers picked up commitment No. 8 Wednesday afternoon when Brunswick, Ga., defensive back Justin Coleman chose the Volunteers over Kentucky.
"Tennessee has things I have been looking for in a school," Coleman told InsideTennessee.com on Wednesday afternoon. "The rich tradition, the great college atmosphere, it just feels like home."
Coleman, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound corner, fell in love with Rocky Top on an unofficial visit. He also enjoyed getting to know the new coaching staff.
"They treated me like a person," Coleman said. "They seem to care about me more than just about football. They way they treated me, I felt I was already a member of their team and family."
Coleman feels the future is bright at the University of Tennessee.
"Coach Dooley will change the future for the better at Tennessee," Coleman said. "He plans on winning a lot of championships there. I want to be a part of that."
