It’s not far off – the 2008-09 season starts Oct. 17 when practice officially begins – but for now all the point guard can do is watch. “I’d rather be shot with a .22 rifle,” the redshirt sophomore said and from the look in her eyes it wasn’t even clear if she was kidding.
