| Playing in a league with very run-oriented offenses, Coples plays in a reactionary defense where his job is to simply contain the line which he does exceptionally well against anything on the outside. Tremendous burst of acceleration and surprising balance for a player of his size, Coples uses his arm length to make many stops.
There is a lot of work to do in the areas of playing low with leverage, and getting upfield to get pressure on a QB. |

| Quinton Coples finished his junior season with 110 tackles and three sacks. He benches 285 pounds.
Coples reports a 2.3 core GPA and an 1130 SAT (three-parts). He retook the SAT on Oct. 6 and is awaiting the results.
Coples: "I can chase the ball carrier well. I'm focused and have very quick feet and hands, but I want to improve my pass rush. I want to get more sacks next season and get to the quarterback quicker." |
