| Eddie led Tennessee in tackles a year ago and ranks as a team leader heading into his senior campaign. Should be a foundation of a defense that could be among the SEC’s finest. 2001 - Started every game at outside linebacker and led team in solo tackles (58), total tackles (81) and fumbles forced. Also registered seven tackles for loss, two sacks, six pass breakups, three hurries and a fumble recovery. 2000 - Saw action in all12 games as backup to Eric Westmoreland and Anthony Sessions. Best outing was a six-tackle, one-assist effort against South Carolina after Westmoreland went out with a rib injury. Led the Vols in special teams’ tackles with 16. 1999 - One of five true freshmen to play, he participated mainly on punt and kickoff coverage teams, recording three tackles. |
