Animated and popular among his fellow players, he’s also a team leader. 2001 - Started four games and played significantly in the other nine. Finished the season with 13 solos, 15 assists and 28 total tackles. Did not record a sack but registered seven hurries and three pass breakups. Also picked off a pass and returned it 29 yards. 2000 - Played in the first seven games before a foot injury caused him to miss the last five. Was making excellent progress before injury. Best game came against LSU, when he recorded four tackles, two assists and a sack. ... 1999 - Missed first four games due to ankle injury but came on strong as season progressed. Made two tackles each against South Carolina, Kentucky and Nebraska (Fiesta Bowl).
