| Biography: |
| Moved from linebacker to end because of heavy graduation losses at the latter, Neal gave indications in April that he’s going to be a key player in Tennessee’s future, winning recognition as Most Improved Defensive Player of spring practice. The question: Will he step into that role this season or the following season? 2001 -Missed much of spring practice with a knee injury that required surgery but recovered in time to record a couple of tackles in limited playing time as a reserve linebacker. 2000 - Redshirted.
