| Switched from defensive tackle to offensive guard a year ago, Smith is listed first-team at right guard after a fine spring. To keep the job, however, he must hold off Anthony Hererra, who missed spring practice with an injury. 2001 - Started the last four games at right guard and performed admirably in that role. 2000 - Played in all 12 games, recording two solo tackles (one for minus yardage) and six assists. Registered half a sack against Louisiana-Monroe. |
