| 2002 - Appears primed for a 1,000-yard season after losing weight and gaining quickness in recent months. Tennessee’s most complete back, he needs only to stay healthy to become the centerpiece of the Vol attack. 2002 - Ran for 779 yards, despite making just eight starts due to nagging thumb injury. Averaged 5.1 yards per carry with a long run of 74 yards vs. Miami. Also caught nine passes for 55 yards. 2001 - Ranked second behind Travis Stephens as a true freshman with 106 rushing yards on 18 carries. His 5.9 yards-per-carry average was best among running backs. Also recorded 7 tackles on special teams. High school - One of 10 running backs named to the Parade All-America team. Named SuperPrep All-America and ranked as the nation’s 10th-best running back. SuperPrep ranked him as the third-best overall recruit in the state of Arkansas. Tom Lemming ranked him as the No. 25 overall prospect for 2001 and the No. 8 running back, while Max Emfinger listed him as one of the nations Top 125 prospects. Rushed for 1,724 yards and 35 touchdowns on 167 carries, averaging better than 10 yards per carry as a senior. Set state record with 97 touchdowns in his career. School All-Star Game in Dallas rushing for 79 yards on 19 carries. Also competed in basketball, baseball and track.
